Black Girls Being
Black Girls Being is a visual love letter to the quiet, powerful moments of Black womanhood. This is Denise ‘deLaSNP’ Coke’s fifth solo art show and first show back in New York City in five years.
Through a series of grounded, poetic vignettes, this art show captures everyday beauty—from shopping at the farmer's market to culture and community to the importance of our self-care and enjoying the stillness in our moments.
Each piece threads together the fullness of our presence—softness, responsibility, artistry, legacy, and joy.
